The Stoner Company was established in 1963 by John E. Stoner, a mechanic who maintained a 1,600 square foot machine shop in Chicago. He was closely associated with the Harris Corp. and Miller Printing Equipment Corp.

Today the Stoner Company, now headquarted in Cary, IL, houses a full service machine shop, 30 employees including full-time mechanics, electricians and riggers.
